 A superb example of a late Anglo Saxon Short Cross Penny from Æthelred  11 reign 978-1016, coin is from the London mint. 

Æthelred II (978-1016),  Last small cross, 1009-1017, moneyer Oda, 1.08g, North 777, S1154. Neat and round, with attractive light toning, spectacular condition. An excellent portrait, fields clear with legend inscriptions very legible in the main, with a broad flan showing the outer beaded border. A complete example on a full flan. Much eye appeal on an underrated type in the series. Bold very fine in strike.

 Henry VIII (1509-1547), First Coinage, Groat

1509-1526, Tower, crowned bust of Henry VII right, square-topped shield over cross fourchée, 2.62g, 6h, m.m. crowned portcullis with the unusual no chains in reverse pyx mark  (Whitton III, 2; North 1762; Spink 2316), cabinet toned, a bolder very fine / very fine and better.

With a spectacular portrait of Henry V111.

 Gold Crown of Five Shillings, Tower mint, Group A, Class 1, broader first crowned bust left, jewelled outer arces on crown, value in field behind inner beaded circles, mintmark lis both sides (1625), pellet stops in legend, reads CAROLVS DG MA BR FR ET HI REX. Charming piece of House of Stuart Gold

Rev, crowned quartered rectangular shield of arms,with light garniture, beaded circle surrounding, reads CVLTORES SVI DEVS PROTEGIT, 2.33g (S.2710; N.2710; Brooker 183;schneider) Lightly toned ona broad flan,same dies as Brooker coin with the MA for MAG legend. Very Fine plus and RARE.

rev. conjoined shields of England and Ireland, mark of value above, 13.73g, 11h  (ESC 431A; Bull 32; Spink 3215) With a pleasant dark tone .
